Co-owned Dogs
Partner Homes 2027
Our first placement dogs will become available in 2027. However, we are already looking for active homes located within a reasonable distance from Jämsä.
What is a Placement Dog?
A placement dog (or co-owned dog) lives with you as a family member, while the breeder retains breeding rights for a agreed number of litters. We always use the Finnish Kennel Club's official contract templates.
Costs and Responsibilities
- Breeder covers: Health screenings related to breeding, breeding insurance, and all litter-related expenses.
- Partner home covers: Daily living costs such as food, vaccinations, and basic health insurance.
- Security deposit: Half of the purchase price (refunded when the contract expires).
Requirements
We look for homes interested in dog activities/sports and willing to maintain close communication with the kennel. Preferred location is max 200 km from Jämsä.
End of Agreement
Once the agreed terms (number of litters or age) are met, full ownership is transferred to the partner home and the security deposit is returned.
